Since its acquisition in 1987 by McMahon Distributeur pharmaceutique inc., subsidiary of Metro Richelieu inc., the Brunet chain has kept more than just the name of the family that made it famous for generations. The company employs more than 3,000 people in Quebec and operates a network of close to 200 pharmaceutical establishments under the banners: Brunet, Brunet Plus, Brunet Clinique and Clini Plus.
