Main duties

  • The Site Upkeeping and Technical Services Supervisor’s primary objective is
  • to preserve and maintain equipment relevant to the building systems, machinery and aquatic facilities.
  • to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of housekeeping and landscaping areas including the aquatic facilities in accordance with the established standards and procedures.
  • He/she is responsible for organizing, planning and controlling the work. He/she performs supervisory tasks while assisting the General Manager.
  • Recruit, Schedules and supervises site upkeeping and technical services associates
  • Ensures the maintenance of facilities, mechanical and electrical rooms, workshops, storage rooms and pools;
  • Ensures the smooth functioning of systems (filtration, heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration);
  • Performs preventive maintenance according to established schedules;
  • Supervises and ensures proper functioning and durability of the use of tools, machines, pool equipment and other areas including security, emergency and fire protections systems;
  • Develops and implements operational efficiency programs to increase productivity and reduce operational costs;
  • Trains, supervises and monitors the quality of work.
  • Handles inventories, orders and maintains par stocks of supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Able to take part and help any job profile under his/her supervision.

Required qualities

  • Essential Requirements:
  • Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in technology of building mechanics or other pertinent experience;
  • Minimum two years of experience in site supervision and project management;
  • Additional Assets:
  • Accreditation – Pool Operator (pool system experience an asset);
  • Knowledge of water chemistry.


This job requires driving a vehicle.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other associates;
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds;
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long period of time;
  • Be able to reach and bend;
  • Frequent exposure to heat and cold.
  • Work Schedule:
  • Variable schedule (days, evenings, weekends, and possibly nights if required)
  • Flexibility is required
  • 24/7 on call position
